Dylan MacKichan
Financial Advisor
I’m a financial advisor at Mutual of Omaha. I grew up in Adams, Nebraska, where I attended high school, and I had the privilege of playing football as a safety at Nebraska Wesleyan University. After earning my degree in sports management, I discovered a passion for finance during my time working at Union Bank & Trust.
Now, I’ve planted my roots in Lincoln and am dedicated to helping people in my community achieve their financial goals. Whether you’re just starting out, planning for retirement, or somewhere in between, I love getting to know your story, understanding your goals, and crafting a plan to help you succeed. Being a financial advisor allows me to build lasting relationships while making a difference, and I couldn’t ask for a better career. If you have any questions or want to chat, don’t hesitate to reach out and schedule an appointment—I’d love to connect!
My family is my pillar of support. Lexi and I welcomed our beautiful daughter to the world this last year named Magnolia Rose and she brings us a constant source of joy. In our free time we love getting together with our close family and friends, watching our favorite teams the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Minnesota Vikings, playing golf, and spending time with our energetic mini Goldendoodle, Chester.

I grew up in Grand Island, Nebraska, and later attended the University of Nebraska Kearney, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Communication. In 2001, I moved to Lincoln, where my professional journey began. I spent 12 years working at Lincoln Benefit Life as an Internal Wholesaler, gaining valuable experience in the financial and insurance industries. In 2013, I joined Troske Financial Group, where I currently serve as Office Manager.
In my role, I oversee many aspects of our operations, from processing new business and developing insurance quotes to handling client requests and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. I am also licensed in life and health insurance and hold my Series 6 and 63 licenses. My goal is to deliver exceptional service to our clients and help them navigate the complexities of financial planning with confidence and ease.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Lorin, and our 12-year-old daughter, Ella. Megan Troske-Lucks
Sales & Marketing Manager
I grew up in the small town of Eagle, Nebraska, and attended high school in Waverly, where I developed a love for creativity and community. After graduating, I headed to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design. This foundation in design gave me a passion for creating beautiful and functional spaces. After college, I gained valuable experience working in floral design, construction documents, before moving to North Carolina, where I worked in home staging before shifting my focus to family life.
In 2017, after returning to Nebraska, I joined Troske Financial Group to work alongside my dad, Dana, as the Sales and Marketing Manager. Transitioning from design to financial services was a new challenge, but I quickly found joy in helping clients plan for their futures. I earned my Life and Health license and now assist with quoting, Medicare planning, social media, marketing, appointment planning, and client service. While it’s a different kind of creativity, I love connecting with clients, learning their stories, and helping them make decisions that can positively impact their lives.
Being part of the family business has been incredibly rewarding, especially since I get to work alongside both my dad and Ben, while also being part time to take care of our family. My husband, Ben, and I live in Springfield, Nebraska, with our four kids. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with Ben trying new restaurants, attending concerts, and cheering on our kids in their various sports and activities. Watching them pursue their passions has been one of my greatest joys.
In my free time, I also love golfing, spending quality time with friends and family, watching football and renovating or redesigning our home. When I get the chance, I cherish time at the lake, where I can relax and recharge. My life is full of adventure, creativity, and connection, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
